Why "Cheekie"?
Hi, I'm Macy Cheeks. "Cheekie" has been my nickname since I was a baby — a little term of endearment from my family.
My whole family calls me this name, and when you work with me, you get treated like family too. When I was younger, it was a touch embarrassing. Now? It's just who I am.
The planner behind the brand
By day I work in workforce analytics and compliance. I'm a systems-and-structure person to my core. By night (and most weekends), I plan events, build community, and make happy hour my business. As a lead planner and coordinator, I've handled everything from full start-to-finish weddings to last-minute day-of coordination, managing vendors, budgets, décor, and the kind of seamless transitions guests never notice — which is exactly the point.
